Every year on 19 August, a recreation of the Battle of 917 is staged in Aheloy. Don’t miss out on seeing Old Nessebar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the lovely town of Pomorie. Burgas and the Black Sea salt pans are also nearby, a 25-minute drive. That is how long it will take to travel to Sveti Vlas.
